Made a random stop into Kittery to get some lunch and stopping here was a great choice. The atmosphere was laid back and pleasant and our lunch was fantastic. The fish in the Fish and Chips platter was honestly one of the best I've ever had. Small but great selection of local Maine beers too.
Service was great. The food was eh, not terrible, but not anything to rave about. We got the wings, two chicken sandwiches. Our waitress was very attentive and helped us remember our to go box.
Found this place while touring New England. What a wonderful restaurant! Had the fish n’ chips like others suggested and it was very delicious. It was not as loud as others described. The place was fairly quiet and service was nice and prompt. Would definitely come back here again when back in New England visiting.
The kitchen was a little backed up, but the waitress did a great job with expectation management even before we were seated. All in all the chicken sandwiches were amazing and great atmosphere. Also it was nice being able to have our dog out on the heated patio with us. They are super pet friendly.
Maybe it's because I've been eating backpackers meals for three days or maybe it's actually the best burger I've ever had. I don't know, but if I'm ever in this town again, I know where I'll be eating.
My family begs to eat here and the last two visits we had were not good. A few months ago my son got burnt badly by the water in the bathroom and I let the manager know it absolutely was not up to code. Hopefully they have fixed the water since we went before theres a lawsuit and a kid gets badly burned. Last night I finally agreed to get take out there and couldn't believe the kids meal and my 8 year old couldn't believe it either and he doesnt eat much. The chicken tenders and fries for the price was the smallest portion I've ever seen and they aren't even homemade chicken tenders they are frozen. I reached out to them via social media asking if that portion size was really their size or a mistake and they didn't respond so figured I'd share here.
Homemade chips were really great (and the sauce has nice kick to it). Had the fried chicken, the Caesars salad with chicken and clam chowder. Lots of good clam in the chowder, the salad was fresh. Chicken was super fresh (very hot) and very crispy without being burned. Beans were tasty too.
Stopped for lunch. The burgers are very good. The bar is clean and well laid out. Service was fast and friendly. A good selection of beers on tap. I recommend.
